Ministry of reconstruction and housing, municipalities, Thursday, a contract for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Muthanna bridge in Baghdad with funds from the World Bank.

The Ministry said in a statement/balance of news, a copy of it, that "under the Ministry of construction and housing and public municipalities Dara Hassan Yara signed a contract for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Muthanna bridge in Baghdad fully funded by the World Bank in the presence of a Fund for the reconstruction of the areas affected by terrorist Abdel Basset Turki.

He said Undersecretary of ages, "the Ministry in coordination with the World Bank contracted to finance the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Muthanna bridge in Baghdad financial cost exceeds five billion dinars in a campaign that rebuilding bridges destroyed by gangs of ISIS in the period, and that the lack of financial allocations in the State budget."

"The project will be implemented by Al-Mu'tasim and the supervision Department of the Ministry's roads and bridges, bridge bridges walstratigih task and contribute to the conduct of military operations and the return of displaced persons and economic movement."

He explained that the work involves planing and paving the entire bridge in addition to rehabilitate piers and sewer pipelines and fence maintenance bridge public interest
