    Is It All A Game Part 2...

    Hello Folks...

    As we see the progress continuing to take place within Iraq, I cannot help but wonder as this transition takes place, and Iraq becomes extremely formidable from an economic standpoint, if there is something on the horizon as it concerns this nation... Is the sun setting as it concerns the greatness, and direction of this once great nation... Watching both Republican, and Democratic conventions did not necessarily instill a great deal of hope in me simply because the mere mention of God was greeted by boo's within one parties convention... In the other, I heard the 3 words "God Bless America", and that was the extent of it... I ask myself, "Should God truly bless America?"...

    Would have loved to hear Donald Trump declare our need to repent as a nation, and to turn our hearts towards our Creator's will as many did within this nation in decades past... After the great depression period of the late 20's, and early 30's many understood that the US had fallen away from a spiritual perspective... The droughts the Midwest endured, and the enormous economic downturn that occurred after enjoying such prosperity during much of the 1920's, humbled those affected by this time, and helped them to realize the folly of placing one's faith, and hopes in the things that perish, and can indeed fade away in a moment of time...

    To talk of the need of repentance nowadays is looked upon as archaic, and judgmental... As suppressing progressive behavior through immoral activities that were once considered sin by much of the population... Do we actually care, or understand what repentance is in accordance to our Eternal Creator's will?... And even if one does in our day, how many would actually want to ask God for mercy, and actually change these behavior's HE considers sin?...

    Enduring something that one want's to occur is generally easy for many when it pertains to one's physical well being... But when it comes to our spiritual lives in Christ Jesus, it takes far more than what we can muster as a physical human being to remain steadfast in faith... Especially when the ONE we seek is invisible to our physical eyes...

    Paul brilliantly summarized what was needed for one to endure, as well as the prevailing spirit that would be dominate during these latter days we now live in... In 2 Timothy chapter 3 this chapter begins with the revelation that many would fall away due to falling within the snares, or temptations that the devil presents in order to control those who seek the lusts of the flesh... It always begins from within one's spirit... As sin continues to define an individual, the easier that individual is manipulated by Satan to continue to the next level of lawless behavior as defined by our God, and Savior... Verses 1-5 of chapter 3 within the 2nd letter sent to Timothy reads as follows,

    "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!"

    It is so easy to slip into this mindset when hedonism becomes a normal aspect of a person's character... The transition goes unnoticed even within a society simply because of being deceived through the mystery that is declared as lawlessness... When this transformation takes place, generally there will be no room within an individual's inmost being to even desire to repent... Lust becomes so vital to those in such a spiritual condition that it is deemed right, and the alternative, being God's definition of righteousness, as being wrong... Hostility, mocking's, as well as despising those who strive to live in accordance to God's sovereign will... A hatred that we see emerging in our Western world more, and more as this spiritual poisoning of the serpent does indeed bring about a rebellious spirit towards that individual's Creator...

    There seems to be a parallel as well as it pertains to what one wants to hear, or believe, rather than the Truth in the matter of what is transpiring in our world, and what one wants to believe as it concerns the various information granted concerning this currency investment... There is a parallel of this (but not nearly as important of course as it concerns this investment), but truth is what one wants it to be... Even at the risk of their perception of truth being based on a lie...

    Paul addressed this within the 4th chapter of 2 Timothy as he warned that in these latter days there would be many who would seek those who would oh so eloquently declare to them what they wanted to hear... Even at the peril of later finding that their lack of understanding would prove to be perilous in the overall scheme of things... Which is why there are those in our world that peddle the Word of God for financial gain by speaking what is wanting to be heard by those who follow them as it pertains to their spiritual lives in Christ Jesus... As verses 1-5 remind us,

    " I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry."

    There are many false prophets, and teachers in our world who have no problem gaining a following... Especially if it grants them wealth, and a power over those who follow their version of the Truth... Personally studying the Word, while relying on the Spirit of God to lead one does take faith, and a dependence on the Spirit of God that also requires discipline in HIM.... It is nothing more than being spiritually lazy when one gravitates towards one who declares false doctrines that appeals to one's own vanity, and lusts... We should be measuring our growth in Messiah in accordance to the standards God has set forth within HIS WORD while personally relying upon the Spirit of God.....

    Which is why there are many congregations that one can choose to worship in... Did Elisha, or Elijah become wealthy from their ministry?... Did not Elisha refuse to take wealth from the Syrian commander after having instructed by God to tell this man to cleanse his leprosy by washing himself 7 times in the Jordan River?... This prophet understood that he was undeserving of such wealth simply because it was all God's doing... (see 2 Kings chapter 5) We must be careful that we do not allow for a mere mortal to take the place of our High Priest, and God... Again this takes spiritual discipline as one learns to truly rely upon our TEACHER who sits at the FATHER's right hand...

    While in the flesh did our Messiah require to be paid vast amounts of wealth for the innumerable acts of healing, valid teachings, and miracles that HIS FATHER performed through HIS SON?... If anyone deserved to be wealthy, Jesus should have had the highest paid ministry that ever existed... What HE wanted is for those who had wealth to give the poor, and help the brethren who were in need of it from a financial perspective...

    The apostles followed in their Savior's footsteps when it came to this practice... Only requiring a place to stay, and food to eat as the gospel was preached within many nations... The scriptures were not as prevalent as they are during our day, so it was very much so required for them to actually go out, and preach the WORD in SPIRIT, and in TRUTH...

    Disingenuous repentance has occurred on a grand scale throughout mankind's history... Many have sought to deflect blame for one's actions, and place the blame on the "other guy," or simply because a sin is coveted, and that individual in reality does not want to overcome it... Which is The very reason many will be easily deceived, and be brought under a strong delusion by God to worship the very one that defines their spiritual state... That being the beast , or man of sin as declared in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2...

    Wealth can deceive one into a false sense of security, and lead that individual into a spiritually apathetic state... As Jesus declared to HIS apostle's within the sermon on the Mount, "if it were possible, even the elect could be deceived." (Matthew chapter 24 verse 24)... One's Spiritual condition must be solely focused upon our Messiah, and the strength HE provides us through HIS SPIRIT... Physical wealth will be of no advantage in the spiritual war that is come to pass in the coming years that lie ahead... On a scale that has not been since the 1st century AD... The spiritual forces understand that their Creator's return approaches swiftly in the coming years that lie ahead... Once God's prophetic Word is fulfilled first of course, and at the blowing of the 7th, and last trumpet...

    So while we see our nation, and the confusion that has been propagated via the media, political parties, as well as our education system, the state of our world has not changed since our Savior declared that the age we would, and now live in would be like no other... Jesus was very adamant in declaring that this age would be defined by evil until HIS return... HE even ask if faith would be found upon HIS return... (Luke 18 verse 8)...

    We can hold a view so dearly, even if it is wrong, that it can blind us from the reality of the matter... Which is why God grants us HIS SPIRIT... To discern, and look upon the world from HIS perspective, while comparing it to HIS WORD...

    Here is another view of politics in our nation... While making my point of my above paragraph... The Democratic party's nominee has a trial of lies, and yet her supporters are unwavering for the most part... It is again an example of what is to come to pass in the future when the man of sin comes on the world scene as somewhat of a savior... He will be propped up by the media as such, and those that will fall for the delusion that God will send to those who will reject the Truth that HIS SON represents in every way... The mystery of lawlessness as work is alive, and well during this time... Can you imagine what it will be like in the years that lie ahead before the return of the KING of kings, and the LORD of lords?...

    May all who are called according to God's purpose's remember each, and every day of our need for God in us through HIS SPIRIT... To maintain that relationship through HIS SON does require a faith that goes above, and beyond our natural abilities in these physical bodies... Especially when times become even more difficult for those who place their faith in the MOST HIGH GOD... Creator of the heavens, earth, and all that is within them...

    Here is a link that may interest you, and a video that is quite telling.. https://fellowshipoftheminds.com/201...vention-seats/

    One more thing... Both parties have issues, and have been compromised exceedingly from a spiritual standpoint... Placing one's trust in the political arena during this time would be unwise IMHO... We are at a point where it is best to wait, and see the salvation of LORD GOD... Remembering that the "prince of the power of the air," better known as Satan, cannot do anything unless our Creator allows for it... Especially as it concerns those adopted through HIS SON, and being lead by HIS SPIRIT... HIS will shall always be done... No matter who the winner of elections are... Think about it!... Remember the hedge of protection God placed around Job... Satan acknowledged this, and again had to granted permission by his CREATOR to persecute Job, and to try, and break this man of faith... Multiply one man of faith by many more within this nation...

    Praying for our leaders is important as well... No matter how corrupt they may be... One never knows when an individual may very well have their spiritual eyes opened by God... Just as it was with Paul (who was once Saul), and his persecution of the church... Blinded at the road to Damascus by God while having his spirit be revealed by the Holy Spirit what Paul was actually doing... Before his conversion Paul thought he was right, and exercising the will of God...

    God also allows for those who are wicked to come to power not only to punish a nation for its sinful behavior, but for the testing of HIS saints... It can certainly be used as a barometer for us as individual believers to how strong our faith really is... Our Father in heaven searches the heart, and does already know what our response will be during such trials... But through testing God allows for one to see the reality of our Spiritual lives in HIS SON through testing... Thus hoping that person makes the necessary adjustments, with HIS help of course when his, or her faith was not as strong in Christ Jesus as that individual imagined it was... This is the difference between relying upon the flesh, and God's Spirit... Remember that Paul pointed out in Romans chapter 8 that the flesh is weak, those who rely upon the physical realm as their strength will perish... Those who rely upon the Spirit of the Most High will indeed live for eternity because HIS righteousness will define the individual who does...

    We certainly do not want to lose faith in God because of our reliance upon the flesh to the point of being broken because of false promises by those who do not represent our Creator... Our Father hardened the heart of Pharaoh so as to punish Egypt for this nations sins, as well as putting on display for Abraham's descendants HIS power, and glory... God Almighty does not change as HIS judgments are the same today as they were yesterday, and will be tomorrow... (Hebrews chapter 13 verse 8)...

    HE can influence anyone to perform HIS will at anytime... Even those with the hardest of hearts... King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon is another example of God's power, and influence over the nations ultimately... Read the book of Daniel, and see the cruelty within this man... Yet this king of Babylon praised God because of our Creator's will... The prophet Daniel was protected by God, and played a major role in the affairs of both the Babylonian, and Persian empires while he was alive... Although in direct opposition to some of the decrees enacted by both empires, as scripture points out, his faith in God was unwavering... Even to the point of losing his life if necessary, Daniel showed WHO he loved with all his strength, and where this prophet's inmost being derived this good courage from as God's Spirit made bold this man's spirit...

    So what is God's perspective of this world we live in, and is the state of our union so far gone from a morally spiritual perspective, that there is no turning back?... 2,000 years ago our Savior declared this world to be evil... Has HIS perspective changed?... Are we looking at this world, and our nation in particular with rose colored glasses?... Sometimes our hope for something can blind us to the reality of the situation that is before us...

    But it does not have to be that way if one is relying upon God Almighty for their strength, and good courage to endure all things... The importance of HIS SPIRIT in one fully through Christ Jesus cannot be emphasized enough...

    PS... A great article written about the lack of shame within our society... When that occurs, there is no room for repentance... Not a good sign at all, and leaves God with no choice but to judge... https://www.wnd.com/2016/07/can-we-bring-back-shame/

    PSS... May we realize our need to stay close to God, and pray that HE will keep us in the shadow of HIS wings... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJt_nYKr_J4

    Re: Is It All A Game Part 2...

    I would like to share a response from a sister in Christ that complimented this post...

    Hi Popeye7,
    Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I believe we truly do need to realize that our true country is not the U.S. of America.
    But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them. Hebs. 11:16

    We, as God's own children, and joint heirs with His Son, are of another country and kingdom.

    We can know for sure that no matter who wins the next election, it is God's plan that is being worked out towards the fulfillment of His plan.

    Daniel 2:21 "And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding."

    Romans 13:1 "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God."

    The rulers are there for a purpose, God's purpose.

    If or when believers are tested whether to obey leaders to do or follow laws or mandates contrary to God's Word, then, of course, "We ought to obey God rather than men," Acts 5:29 as Peter and the other apostles answered the priest in v.27.

    It is high time for all of God's children to be looking up, holding on to the faith once delivered to the saints, and holding God's hand, as He leads us by His Spirit, for our redemption draws nigh.

    In Christian love, your sister,
    Jeanette

    Friends, this nation that we have been so blessed to live in from a physical perspective was never meant to be the answer to what mankind has needed all along... God always had a predetermined time, and purpose for all things to come to pass... Remember what HE declared in Isaiah chapter 46:

    “Remember this, and show yourselves men;
    Recall to mind, O you transgressors.
    9 Remember the former things of old,
    For I am God, and there is no other;
    I am God, and there is none like Me,
    10 Declaring the end from the beginning,
    And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
    Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
    And I will do all My pleasure,’
    11 Calling a bird of prey from the east,
    The man who executes My counsel, from a far country.
    Indeed I have spoken it;
    I will also bring it to pass.
    I have purposed it;
    I will also do it."

    Keeping it all in perspective folks, and reminding us all that God is in control of the situation... His saints should NO reason to fear what lies ahead... For we were born for this time, and are being tested as to how we will respond to trials within our lives... Ever growing in grace, and knowledge while taking the opportunities granted us by our Father in heaven to be living sacrifices as we fulfill HIS eternal will... It is all about being prepared, and not allowing for the Babylonian spirit that pervades this world to make one spiritually drunk on a personal level... Come out of her if necessary, and do not drink of the wine of her fornication's... Lest one becomes spiritually lost by the mystery called lawlessness...

    Blessed be the saints who rely upon their Savior for the strength necessary to finish the race on the straight, and narrow path that leads to eternal life... That priceless gift from our Creator that keeps on giving...
