Preparing the United Nations family Monday, October 24 / October at the UN headquarters inside the Green Zone to celebrate the occasion with its national and international. The ceremony will also see a review of some of the activities undertaken by the United Nations for all Iraqis.

The establishment of the United Nations on 24 October / October 1945 when the majority of the original members of the 51 countries to ratify the Charter of the United Nations. The organization currently comprises 193 countries and is being celebrated this day every year all over the world to highlight the work being done by the World Organization for Peace and Development.
And both the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq and the President of the United Nations Mission to help Iraq (UNAMI), Martin Kobler, and Iraqi Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari, addressing the audience. Participants will also include representatives from the Government of Iraq and the diplomatic missions, civil society and United Nations personnel.
