Iraqi Foreign commends collect two billion dollars from 31 donor state

He praised the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, on Thursday, a conference of donor countries and its success in raising more than $ 31 billion from the donor country, noting that the amount of donations will be allocated for relief to the displaced and the reconstruction of the devastated areas.
He said the ministry 's spokesman Ahmad Jamal in a press statement, " The conference , which was held yesterday is a conference of donor countries for Iraq within the international coalition against terrorism , " noting that "those who call for the conference in coordination with Iraq are the United States, Canada, Japan and attended by 40 countries , which donated 31 countries . " .
"The total contributions received by Iraq 's $ 2.1 billion, and this figure is considered a good achievement , " he said , adding that "most of the money will be efforts to shelter the displaced and support the stability and reconstruction in the liberated areas."
The Conference was held yesterday in Washington , the United States, and was intended to raise at least two billion dollars to aid the displaced, after the United Nations said it would need that amount to secure the needs of the anticipated exodus from the province of Nineveh
