Peshmerga artillery kills 5 ISIS members in Northern Mosul

Nineveh – Kurdistan Democratic Party in Nineveh Province revealed on Tuesday, that five members of the so-called ISIS were killed in an artillery shelling launched by the Peshmerga forces in northern Mosul (405 km north of Baghdad).

Kurdistan Democratic Party spokesman in Nineveh, Saeed Mamousini, said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The artillery of Peshmerga forces shelled a gathering of ISIS in Barima village in Bashiqah vicinity (22 km north of Mosul).”

Mamousini added, “The shelling resulted in the killing of five ISIS members, as well as destructing a military vehicle.”
