Abadi Office shows the reason for the failure to convene the Cabinet meeting today

It confirmed the Information Office of the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, Tuesday, that the Cabinet did not hold its session today being a public holiday, as pointed out that the Council identified in advance on Thursday as the date for the hearing.

A spokesman for the office, Saad al-Hadithi said in an interview for the Sumerian News, "The Cabinet did not take place today because of the fact that today is a public holiday and can not be the Council held public holidays and not because the quorum is not to convene."


Sabri said that "the Council of Ministers identified in its earlier on Thursday, May 5 date for holding its next meeting."

He was head of the "efficiencies" MP Haitham al-Jubouri said earlier Tuesday that the cause of the failure to convene the Cabinet meeting is the lack of a quorum and no official holiday scheduled for today on the occasion of the martyrdom of Imam Moussa al-Kadhim (AS).
