Iraq meets with International Monetary Fund and the World Bank for long-term loans

The Central Bank Governor said the relationship a meeting soon with the IMF for a loan, adding that Iraq has the right to grant assistance and facilities when in crisis.

Allaq said in a television interview monitored News economy agency that "Iraq is in the process of meeting soon with IMF, World Bank and G7 industrial agreement for giving us a loan of billions of far-reaching and useful facilitator", adding that "the Central Bank and Finance Ministry forward inter action to them on that."

He added that "the loan is right as Iraq is a member of the IMF and World Bank annual contributions paid for them", stating that "in accordance with the law of the Fund and the World Bank to grant aid and facilities to its Member States when undergoing a financial crisis."
