Hakim, SIIC Shura council discuss future requirements

Baghdad (AIN) –Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council SIIC Ammar al-Hakim reviewed with the consultation body in the council the latest developments in Iraq and the need to success the Arab Summit because this summit will be an important step for Iraq to regain its position in the Region.



A source from SIIC reported on Tuesday “Hakeem briefed the members who came from different provinces about the outcome of his visit to KR to participate in the commemoration of Halabcha massacar, his meeting with President Jalal Talabani, President of KRG, Speaker of KRG Parliament and number of leaders.”



“The meeting witnessed discussions about the requirements to develop the institutions of the SIIC and the role of the Citizen Bloc in the political process,” the source concluded. /End/
