NATO: a plan to train Iraqi forces

NATO pledged (NATO) to provide more support to Iraqi forces in its war against al Daash Islamic state and it trained a number of its members over the next few weeks.

He praised NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg during a visit to Iraq Tuesday, during which he met with senior officials, the Government's efforts to restore the areas controlled by Daash.

He said in this regard, "I welcome the progress they have made, I have Dhroh and were able to restore land."

He stressed that "Iraq does not stand alone," because the international coalition against Daash and NATO and its allies supporting his efforts in this regard.

He disclosed that NATO train Iraqi officers will begin in a few weeks, what he saw as "will enhance their strength and their ability to defend themselves, and helps to weaken the organization and eliminate it."

National Iraqi News Agency quoted a statement of the Office of the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said he received in Baghdad, NATO Secretary-General where they discussed the security situation and the war on terrorism and the training and arming of the security and military forces and victories forces.
