Kurdistan agree to apply federal customs tariff

News economy learned that the KRG had sent a letter to the Federal Directorate for border abghaltha which consent to the application of Federal Customs Tariff Act goods entering the country through its border crossings, but they set conditions for that application.

According to the News Agency indicated the economy is that the conditions for application of the customs tariff territory in transmittance relate to the size of the customs duties imposed on goods, demanding the territory to reduce those fees apply tariffs at border crossings operated by the territorial Government.

The thadeh Government has applied customs tariff act all State ports and 30% on the goods involved for the country, including Kurdistan regional outlets, but the latter refused the application and retained the old tariff fees 5% prompting traders to head NGO territory and enter their goods and away from Central and southern ports.
