Barzani: Kurdistan will follow the modern financial policies are austere
The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government Nechirvan Barzani, on Wednesday, that the Government of the Territory will follow the modern financial policies is to "austerity", stressing at the same time that the government will implement the reform plans to reduce expenses and increase imports.
Barzani said during his speech in the financial reform conference held in Arbil that "the Kurdistan region would follow the modern financial policies aimed at reducing the impact of the economic crisis by reducing expenses and increasing financial revenues," noting that "the government will implement the policy of austerity."
Barzani said, "The fall in oil prices and the war against Daash and sheltering a large number of displaced people and a budget cut of Baghdad province of the main causes of the financial crisis in the region," stressing that "the region will face a crisis through reform plans in the interest of everyone."
Barzani pointed out that "the volume of investments in the region reached 30 billion dollars," pointing out that "the region could not take advantage of many opportunities."
He said Barzani, that "the Government of the Territory determined to overcome difficulties through the development of plans to contribute to development," stressing "we will be the owners of an independent state in the future and we will defeat Daash".
