The new Iraqi Dhi Qar Oil Company oversees the fields of Nasiriyah and Gharraf


Baghdad, January 5 January (Reuters) - The new executive at an oil company with Iraqi Qar said Tuesday that the company will oversee the four fields, including the field of Nasiriyah and Gharraf already two products.

Director Yasin cream run Fields told Reuters by telephone said the Dhi Qar Oil aims to increase production to about 200 thousand barrels per day this year from 170 thousand barrels per day currently.

And it announced that the Iraqi Oil Ministry on its website on Tuesday the establishment of Dhi Qar Oil Company and change the name of the Southern Oil Company in Basra Oil Company.

Yassin said that the Garraf field currently produces about 100 thousand barrels per day, while the field of Nasiriyah produces 70 thousand barrels per day.

He added that the Dhi Qar will seek to field production of measles this year an initial production of 30 thousand barrels per day.

Yassin did not give details on the date of lengthening the fourth field, which will oversee the company which Abu column field.
