Oil agree to a proposed council in Basra to train job seekers

It agreed the Iraqi Oil Ministry on a proposal submitted by the Commission on oil and gas in the Basra Governorate Council includes allocating a portion of the amounts of social benefits for the training of young researchers working in the vicinity of the oil fields invested areas by foreign companies and prepare them for work in these companies.

The Chairman of the Commission on oil and gas in the Basra Governorate Council Ali Shaddad Knight said the ministry agreed to the proposal submitted by the Commission on oil and gas and endorsed by the provincial council, which includes the allocation of 30% of the amounts of social benefits for the training and rehabilitation of young job seekers.

He knight that this project will provide for young job-seekers in the vicinity of the oil fields areas a lot of opportunities to work with foreign companies after training on the most important disciplines and professions that you need oil fields invested companies.

He added that the trainees will receive international certificates to enable them to work with all foreign companies, pointing out that the first batch will include the training of 1,000 young people of both sexes in every region of the bodies and the nearby fields invested in the areas of oil licensing rounds.

He said this project will contribute to the creation of a social stability in the oil fields areas and provides a lot of employment opportunities for the youth of the inhabitants of the nearby oil fields and other areas surrounding areas.
