BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Al-Iraqiya political bloc denied today its acceptance that Saadoun al-Dulaimi to remain as defense minister, stressing its stands to adhere to this post as its privilege, according spokesman Haidal al-Mulla. Al-Mulla told IraqiNews.com that no agreement was reached with the State of Law bloc on his stay as minister of defence. “The Prime Minister is very slow in determining this dossier,” he added. Many MPs disclosed, earlier, that there was an agreement between the two blocks that Al-Dulaimi will remain as minister of defense. Premier Nouri al-Maliki entrusted al-Dulaimi with the post as acting defense minister, while Iraqiya bloc announced that this move will deepen the security posts crisis.
