Thousands of Iraqis rallied yesterday in eight provinces in central and south of the country, in protest at the lack of seriousness to the implementation of reforms, announced by Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, and adopted by Parliament since last August.

Demonstrators gathered, including journalists, activists and civilians, in Tahrir Square in the capital, Baghdad, amid tight security.

A useful Hamid, one of the protesters said that «the reforms announced by Abadi, a few months ago, did not reap which only promises.»
He added that «everyone understands the pressure on Prime Minister size, while being reforms may target some of the window of political parties, but the support he received Abadi of the people and the references to religion, was enough to him because liberated from all the pressure, but he did not do».
He explained that «the country is moving towards the worst, severe economic crisis, and other security, and reforms are almost non-existent, made ​​Hope recovered from Iraq and put the bad is almost impossible.»

Also saw the provinces south of the country: Babylon, Karbala, Diwaniyah and Muthanna, and Missan, Wasit, Dhi Qar, demonstrations and wide, to protest against the delay in the implementation of reforms that the government has pledged to meeting them packages.
