Washington plans to send 16 thousand civilian employees to Iraq
10/8/2011 | (Voice of Iraq) - news agency RIA Novosti Russian official newspaper "Washington Post" on Saturday that the U.S. State Department is preparing to assume the reins in Iraq after the withdrawal of American troops late this year, and that being prepared for the named process of rebuilding Iraq is the largest since the "Marshall Plan" to rebuild Europe after World War II. The newspaper said the U.S. plan is to send 16 thousand civilian personnel to Iraq, while only observers, U.S. fears of the inability of the Ministry of Foreign control of this army of employees who will follow U.S. ambassador in Baghdad, especially since a large proportion of them are contractors and not employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
