He added that "the two sides reaffirmed to accelerate the opening of the Saudi Embassy in Baghdad as an expression of the evolution of better relations, and cooperation in international forums", describing the meeting with the King that he was "good and positive, where King confirmed to the seriousness to the Saudis to strengthen relations". Jaafari, called the need to "open a new page in relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia", adding that "the important thing is to start new pages evolve events that occupy the region".
