Abadi attributed Putin telephoned the fall of the Russian plane and discuss the expansion of the war on terror

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi made a phone call on Sunday with President of the Federal Republic of Russia Vladimir Putin during which the feet of condolences to the Government and people of Russia by the unfortunate incident which caused the fall of the Russian aircraft in the Sinai in Egypt on Saturday and claimed the lives of all the passengers totaling 224 passengers. A statement by the Prime Minister's office received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it, that "the Russian President thanked the Prime Minister for his condolences, noting that many of the countries and peoples of the world are involved Russia this sad feelings, the most important of Iraq, which is a partner and a friend to Russia in a lot of areas."

Abadi, in turn, expressed his "Iraq's desire to strengthen these relations, and cooperation in order to eradicate the evil of terrorism in Iraq and Syria."

Abbadi also discussed "efforts to find a political solution to the situation in Syria and the outcome of the Vienna conference, which was held last Friday," and called for "intensified efforts to activate the mechanics of the solution in Syria, and Russian President supported this trend, stressing the need to expand joint efforts in the fight against terrorism."

The Russian president said according to the statement "the importance of consolidating relations with Iraq, which recently manifested itself in the detailed discussions that took place in New York City between the two countries" .
