Abdul-Mahdi, a delegation from the Kurdistan region will visit Baghdad in the coming days




Roodao – Erbil a Federal Oil Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, a senior delegation from the Kurdistan region, will visit Baghdad within the next few days.

And after a deliberative meeting provincial oil Administration held in Dhi Qar Province, Abdul-Mahdi said in a press conference that "a high-level delegation from the Kurdistan region, will visit Baghdad to discuss the oil agreement and the share of the territory's budget in 2016".

The oil Minister said "we believe that the work of the Ministry cannot be achieved properly without straight and clear relationship with local governments, and are well aware of the difficulties the historical heritage of this relationship of many Central and laws that hinder local and Federal Government work".

Abdul-Mahdi said "today through past decades served the Iraqi people's oil in many Affairs, but we feel that oil development has been at the expense of the real sectors, including industry, agriculture and services, but in the service of wars of aggression, destruction hit Iraq still pays the price".

He stressed that the work of the Ministry and its relationship with local governments "must serve the Iraqi economy and should not be counted".
