The Iraqi government to form a ministerial committee to cancel all decisions of the former regime

The Iraqi government said on Thursday it formed a ministerial committee works in coordination with the State Council to issue laws and decisions of the repeal of all laws and decisions of the Revolutionary Command Council "dissolved" provided that there is a predominance of one party over another party.
Still many decisions and laws which prescribed the Revolutionary Command Council "dissolved" during the rule of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein in place in several ministries and government institutions.

The Iraqi Council of Ministers had decided this week to cancel all resolutions issued by the "Committee for the North" on Kirkuk and
return all land to its rightful owners, in addition to the award of financial compensation rewarding.

They complain of ministries and institutions of conflict of powers and impede completion of the business, because of the incompatibility of resolutions and laws of the Revolutionary Command Council "dissolved" with the new situation in Iraq.

Took over the House of Representatives during its previous session and cancel the current number of resolutions and laws of the Revolutionary Command Council "dissolved" but could not stop working out altogether.

The Minister of State for Provincial Affairs Torhan Mufti told the Kurdish news agency (Rn), that "the Iraqi Council of Ministers decided to form a ministerial committee to sit with the Council of State and out of a law or set of laws or decisions of parallel laws and decisions of the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council and lead to revocation."

The Mufti said: "The Committee will make decisions and laws parallel to the previous resolutions and laws, provided that Ahakha right and there will be no predominance of one party over another party."

It was the Iraqi Human Rights Ministry has proposed this month to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to abolish an array of decisions of the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council, after study and develop alternatives to them.

The dissolved Revolutionary Command Council, who was responsible in Iraq before 2003 for the legislation of laws and resolutions.
