Parliament terminate the interrogation and Minister of Electricity and convinced Bojobth

It ended the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Saturday, interrogation and Electricity Minister Qassim Fahdawi, with the voice of his conviction Pajupth.

A parliamentary source said that "through the House of Representatives ended its 17th legislative term of the first second legislative year, questioning the Minister of Electricity Qassim Fahdawi."

The source, who asked not to be named, said: "Parliament voted on the conviction that the answers given by the minister for the nine questions addressed to him during the meeting."

The Iraqi Council of Representatives held on Saturday, its 17th of the legislative term of the first second legislative year in the presence of 260 deputies and the Presidency Saleem al-Jubouri, while the agenda of the meeting included hosting and Electricity Minister Qassim Fahdawi and vote on the draft National Guard law and the first and second readings of the seven bills.

Referred to the House Speaker Salim al-Jubouri, threatened, on 25 August 2015, to withdraw confidence from the Minister of Electricity Qassim Fahdawi in the event of his absence to interrogate Parliament, and with invited him to appear before Parliament at a hearing Saturday, after his absence from the previous meeting, he stressed that the right of Parliament questioning in absentia.


The head of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Saleem al-Jubouri identified in the (11 August 2015), on Tuesday (25 August), the date for the questioning of the Minister of Electricity Qassim Fahdawi in Parliament, but he did not attend.

The Presidency of the Council of Representatives of Iraq provided, on Monday (10 August 2015), and include a 16-sheet repair requirement notably the dismissal of the ministers of electricity Qassim Fahdawi and water resources Mohsen al-Shammari, MPs absent from the meetings, while the government gave 30 days to implement them.
