وتابع «أعتقد أن هذا هو اقتراح جيد، وعلى الطرفين ان يجريا مفاوضات حياله». He said «I think that this is a good proposal and the two parties to hold their negotiations about it».
وقد دفع العراق ما قيمته 34.3 مليار دولار كتعويضات اثر غزو نظام صدام حسين للكويت، منها حوالي 25 مليار دولار ذهبت إلى الكويت. Iraq has to pay about $ 34.3 billion dollars in compensation after the regime of Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait, of which about $ 25 billion went to Kuwait.
