Kurdistan Parliament starts winter vacation

ARBIL / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraq Kurdistan Parliament ended its second round for the present year, starting its winter vacation which will last for two months.

Calls demanded to extend the work of the parliament for two weeks or one month, but no response was made.

Parliament Speaker Kamal Karkuki added that "the ordinary sessions will be stopped, but the committees will work to discuss draft laws and supervising the functions of the government, in preparation for a new parliamentary round next year.
