U.S. Embassy: The number of staff at the embassy will decrease in future

McClellan denied published by some media about the existence of about 30 thousand employees in the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, said in a statement to "Radio Sawa" The number of staff at the embassy does not exceed 15 thousand employees, but the number is not fixed, and distributed to offices and U.S. consulates in other provinces of Iraq. McClellan pointed out that the number of diplomats at the U.S. Embassy in Iraq equal to the number of embassies in Mexico, Japan and Germany likely to reduce this number over the coming years. McClellan also noted that the U.S. Embassy plans to replace some of its Iraqi staff.
