Has anyone noticed that after all these years there is a rate for the GBP and EURO! OK it is low but has not been posted for many years. Does this mean anything? It is now showing on CBI.iq site. I spoke with a major trader who then called his bank contact in Bagdad and was told a lot is happening but the RV is nothing to do with Maliki. It is down to the CBI, Sennett and IMF to pull the trigger/press the button and it is unlikely to happen till after the elections.
Hey I took a look at the internet archive site and it shows that the GBP and the Euro have been posted for many years. There was a period in 2009 I think where other curriencies were not posted but they have been since.
