cannot get into chat since yesterday

Can't get into chat. the icon takes me to a page that says it cannot load and must be having a problem. Please help!!

Awww Heck!

Sorry you're having trouble accessing chat. There's a thread just above this one that has a lot of tips on managing java in relation to our chat room.

Check it out and see if anything in there works for you. It's trial and error, sorry to say. However, many of us have found that java 6 works best. Not to say other versions won't, but they are often finicky.

I understand this is not the correct location to post this but has the format for the Straight Talk posts on the Observer and Blog changed now when I click on the link it takes me to this page. https://d.pr/a/Tmi1 a site with what looks to be a mps wave recording but if I click play I don't hear anything? The page is supported by a company/program names Droplr?

Hope you can help me or point me in the right direction. I have tried to create a new thread and tried a PM but it wont allow me to write in the title bar so will not send.
I cannot access the chat room using my subscription login for the forum. It says its invalid, but I am in the forum already. Do I need a different login for chat??

Hey there Monterra!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. We are experiencing some quirks in the forum ... Internet Explorer is the only browser that seems to allows text in the title bar. Other browsers work for most other tasks. If you come across anything else that isn't working, go back to IE and try it. I've had difficulty working in IE for long periods of time but I'm not sure if that is Windows 8 or across the board.

Technically, you 'should' be able to access the Chat Room via the Forum (yes, use the same un/pw as the forum). I know this seems simple, but check from the Home Page--click Forum in the black bar--before you try to login to chat and make sure you didn't get bumped out of forum. If the forum 'Last Post' column says Private you are not logged in.

If that doesn't work please let me know.
