    Sadrist MP accuses Kurdistan and Iraqiya of lack of quorum to vote on the Budget.

    BAGHDAD / NINA / The MP, of the Ahrar bloc, Mohammad Redha al-Khafaji accused the Kurdistan Alliance and the Iraqiya coalition to block approving the budget in order to get more gains.

    He said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The MPs of Kurdistan Alliance and Iraqiya stayed into the cafeteria of the House of Representatives and this is disgraceful and shameful, because some of the blocs exploit the security vacuum and conflicts and demonstrations that occur in Iraq in order to pressure on the government to get more gains. "


    He said: "The Sadr movement will organize protests and demonstrations in the provinces of the country to protest against the failure to approve the budget."

    The House of Representatives adjourned its session, which was aimed to vote on the budget to Tuesday afternoon.

    The MP, Ahmed al-Abbasi told / NINA /: "The presidency of the Council adjourned the session for lack of quorum."

    The House of Representatives has postponed vote on the budget more than once due to a lack of quorum to convene.

    Baghdad (AIN) –The Independent High Electoral Commission announcing fining five political parties for violating the conditions of the electoral propaganda for the provincial councils elections in Iraq.

    The head of the Electoral Department within the IHEC, Muqdad al-Shiraifi, stated in a press statement on Monday "The IHEC fined five political parties with financial amount from five to 30 IQD Million."

    "Another list of the contravener parties will be announced within the next 24 hours," he added.

    "There will be strict measures for those parties in case they repeat the violations," he concluded.

    Talabani's wife: Talabani's health condition improves

    Baghdad (AIN) –Hiro Ibrahim Ahmed, the wife of the President, Jalal Talabani, assured that Talabani's health condition is improving.

    A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan stated in a press statement received by AIN "Ahmed, while meeting the Foreign Central Council of the PUK in Germany, assured that the President Talabani's health condition is getting better."

    "The Council presented a followers bouquet to Ahmed who assured that Talabani is responding to the treatment at the hospital in Germany."

    Earlier, the brother of the Iraqi President, Jalal Talabani, announced that Talabani will return to Iraq on the 10th of next march after the remarkable improvement in his health.

    Janki Talabani, the President's brother, stated that "The German medical team that are supervising Talabani's treatment process has informed them about the President's health improvement where the medical team allowed his family to visit him."

    Janki pointed out that "Talabani talked to his wife, Hiro Ahmed, through phone where he told her that he will return home on the 10th of March."
