    Sadr accuses Maliki's coalition and those boycotted the exceptional session of delaying the parliament’s works

    A statement issued by Sadr's office in which "Shafaq News" received a copy of it that "The presence of Ahrar bloc for the exceptional Session yesterday comes from the position of the parliament and its fundamental role in solving the issues and legitimate demands called by peaceful demonstrations, especially that the Prime Minister has stated earlier that most of the demonstrators’ demands are of the legislature power competence not the executive.”
    The statement asked, "Why does the parliament works would be delayed because SLC members didn’t attend along with others "?
    The Speaker of the parliament, Osama al-Nujaifi, a leader in al- Iraqiya List has called last week, the political blocs to attend the exceptional parliamentary session to discuss the demands of the demonstrators and the protests taking place in the country.
    Sunday’s session which was called by Nujaifi turned into a consultative session for the lack of quorum after SLC, Mwaten (citizen) blocs; Islah, Badr and Fadihela movements boycotted it.
    The Federal Minister of Justice , Hassan al-Shammari met on Sunday, Moqtada al-Sadr upon his arrival to Najaf to inform the second on the women detainees in Iraqi prisons’ issue.
    Iraq has witnessed many crises and sit-ins taking place in Anbar, Salahuddin and Nineveh, which demands a radical change in the policy of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, who faces numerous criticisms by the Kurds.

    Three areas in Baghdad start supporting demonstration for Maliki

    Shafaq News / Hundreds of people demonstrated on Monday in three areas of Baghdad in support of Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki.
    The demonstrations were concentrated in Abu Disher south of Baghdad, Bayaa and Al-Amel areas.
    The protesters denounced what they called as sectarian demonstrations in Anbar.
    The demonstrations came after Muthaffar Square in eastern Baghdad has witnessed similar supporting demonstrations for Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki, at a time of the growing wave of protests in Anbar, Mosul and Salahuddin provinces.

    Iraqi army fire live bullets to disperse protest in Mosul

    Shafaq News / A local official in Nineveh province revealed that the Iraqi army fired live bullets to disperse a protest downtown Mosul.
    The source told "Shafaq News”, that” more than two hundred and fifty people tried this afternoon to storm Ahrar Square in the centre of Mosul to protest in it, but the Iraqi army stopped them and fired live bullets in the air to disperse them. "
    Security forces in Mosul are preventing for the third day demonstrating in Ahrar Square.
    The protests in Mosul have started after it starting in Anbar demanding to release detainees and delaying the anti-terrorism law as well as accountability and justice laws.
