Good intentions in Kuwait to develop neighborly relations with Iraq , Kopler

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: UN representative to Iraq Martin Kolpler announced today that he got “good intentions from Kuwaiti and Iraqi sides to develop good neighborly relations”. After visiting Kuwait on 23-25 November instant, a statement was issued by his office. The statement said that he held “fruitful talks with a number of Kuwait officials, including Kuwaiti Parliament Speaker Jassim al-Khuraffi and head of Compensations Committee. “I got the opportunity to discuss a number of vital issues of joint interest to Iraq and Kuwait “, he added. The statement concluded that this is the first visit to Kuwait in his capacity as UN representative to Iraq (UNAMI).
