    The head of the House of Representatives had visited Arbil last weekend and met with the President of the Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani to negotiate with him to find appropriate solutions to end the crisis between the province and the center, and then met Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki upon his return to Baghdad.

    A Kurdish lawmaker accuses al-Maliki to refrain from conducting the general census.

    Nusaiyf calls to change KR's share of federal budget into 13%

    Baghdad (AIN) -MP Aliya Nusaiyf of the Iraqiya Hurra Coalition called the executive authority to decrease the share of Kurdistan Region within the federal budget to 13% instead of being 17%.

    Nusaiyf pointed out that "The actual share of the Region from the annual budget is 13% but it was increased to 17% to be adopted till conducting the census."

    She called "the Kurdistan Regional Government to pay back the extra amounts that the Region acquired during the adoption of 17%."

    Tayfour urges Obama to prevent Iraqi Army from using force against Kurds

    Baghdad (AIN) -The Iraqi Deputy Speaker Arif Tayfour, the leading figure of the Kurdistani Alliance called the US President Barak Obama to prevent the Iraqi Army from using force against the Kurds through taking measures to freeze the use of tanks and heavy weapons.

    A statement by Tayfour's office cited "Despite the efforts exerted by the political partners to calm down the tensions between the Central Government and Kurdistan Regional Government, however the Central Government is going on mobilizing the military forces in the disputed areas where these forces are intensifying their deployment near Kurdistan Region's borders."

    He continued saying "We urge Obama to immediately interfere to prevent the Iraqi army from using the US weapons against the Kurdish people."

    "We also call the international community and the international organizations to support the Kurdish people and move urgently to inspect the military escalation by the Central Government to resolve the disputes in the disputed areas once and for all," Tayfour concluded.

    Baghdad (AIN) -The head of the Hurra Iraqiya Coalition Khutaiba al-Jubouri stressed that the Kurds' demands over running the security file in the disputed areas are illegal and unconstitutional because the Commander General of the Armed Forces is the only figure who is authorized to move divisions of the military forces.

    Jubouri stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) "The Commander General of the Armed Forces, Nouri al-Maliki, is the only figure who is constitutionally authorized to move and distribute the military forces throughout Iraq's territories," stressing that "The Kurds' demands over assuming the security in the disputed areas are clearly unconstitutional."

    "The task of the Peshmerga military forces in the Kurdistan Region, is to preserve the internal security within the Region; therefore these forces must be armed with light weapons rather than heavy weapons," he concluded.

    Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Raad al-Dahlaki, of the Iraqiya Slate described the attempt to form alliances against the Government as "A reaction to the current crisis between the Central Government and the Kurdistani Regional Government."

    He stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) "There are calls to withdraw confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki," noting that "These calls are immature and comes as a reaction to the disputes between the CG and KRG."

    "Any decision to be taken at the current stage must be studied due to the critical situation," he added.

    "There must be suitable atmospheres for taking important decision and to avoid wrong ones," he concluded.
