    Parliament postpones vote on the amnesty law

    Baghdad/ Obelisk: a parliamentary source said on Saturday that the House of Representatives to vote on the amnesty law because of continuing disagreements about it, pointing out that the Parliament also postponed the vote on the president of the accountability and justice and his deputy.

    The source told "obelisk", "The Presidency of the parliament postponed the vote on the amnesty law even pointed out last," noting that "the reason for the delay is the lack of political consensus to vote on the law."

    The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, that "the Presidency also postponed voting on the head of the accountability and justice and his deputy," pointing out that "there are many reasons behind the postponement, mainly frequent topics on the agenda of Parliament for the day."

    The Council of Representatives, Saturday, its regular 28 headed by Osama Najafi and the absence of 125 deputies, MP Kazem Sayadi that began meeting to vote on Article 40 of the general budget bill and was supposed to witness also vote on the amnesty law.
