Lifting of the House of Representatives hearing on Thursday to Saturday because of a lack of quorum after the departure of the Kurdistan Alliance MPs and the Iraqi List, to protest the inclusion of infrastructure law on the agenda of the meeting.
A parliamentary source said in a press statement that "the deputies of the Kurdistan Alliance and the Iraqi List, walked out of the session on Thursday after the inclusion of infrastructure law on the agenda, which led to a lack of quorum."
The source added that "the presidency of the Council initially raised the meeting for half an hour, but it decided Tagelaha after tomorrow, Saturday, at the insistence of the Congress of Kurdistan and Iraq not to enter the meeting."
The law infrastructure of controversial laws which becomes passed in the House of Representatives a coalition of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
