Iraq plans to sign agreements with Japan in energy and oil

Erbil, November 17 (Rn) - The Iraqi government announced Thursday its intention to sign agreements with Japan in the fields of energy and oil.

And these agreements will be signed during the visit of Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to Japan next week at the invitation of his counterpart Yoshihiko Noda.

And announced that the Japanese embassy in Iraq on Tuesday that al-Maliki will visit Japan in the 20 of November in the current three-day visit.

A statement issued by Maliki's office that the latter will lead a high-level delegation, including ministers of finance, oil and industry and a number of advisers and heads of agencies.According to the statement, "The talks will focus on the development of political and diplomatic relations and coordination of positions in international forums in addition to expanding investment in energy and oil industries."
