MP Maliki: Endorsing Infrastructure law draft not to be done by political deals
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP, Abdul al-Salaam al-Maliki, of the State of Law Coalition assured that the Infrastructure law draft will not be endorsed by the political deals or by endorsing other law drafts.
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Wednesday, he said “The SLC would not conduct any deal over endorsing the law drafts even if the Infrastructure law draft was not endorsed because each law draft has its own conditions and details.”
“The Infrastructure law draft is one of the important law drafts that serve the Iraqi people and we will never allow endorsing it by political deals,” he concluded.
Earlier, MP, Ihsan al-Awadi, of the State of Law Coalition within the Iraqi National Alliance stated that the constituents of the INA agreed to positively voting on the Infrastructure law draft, noting that “Some modifications were made to the Infrastructure law draft and properly the parliament will vote on it next week.”
