Baghdad (AIN) ľA delegation of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc, headed by the head of the bloc Qutaiba al-Jobouri, discussed with the President, Jalal Talabani, the political disputes and the means of bringing the various views closer.

A statement by the media office of the bloc received by AIN on Wednesday cited "A delegation of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc visited the President, Jalal Talabani, at his office and discussed the means of bringing the various views closed and achieve the deal among the political sides in order to serve the Iraqi citizens."

"During the meeting, Jobouri discussed the stance of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc over the current political crisis which is to unify the political sides, stressing the necessity of depending on Talabani to settle such crises," the statement added.

"For his part, Talabani appreciated the visit of the delegation and its trust in him over settling the crisis, stressing the importance of increasing all the efforts to achieve the settlement of the current disputes," the statement concluded.

The delegation comprised MPs, Mohammed al-Da'ami, Zuhair al-Araji, Amina Mahdi, Aliya Nusayif, Karima al-Jiwari, Lubna Rahim and judge, Muhanad al-Dulaimi.
