ended delegation Kurdistan visit the United States, which lasted one week, where the delegation held several meetings with senior officials in both Washington and New York, during which the research success of the Kurdistan region after the liberation of Iraq, and called on the delegation of the Kurdistan region of the United States of America taking into account the current conditions of the region in resolving the political crisis in the region.


The delegation included Chairman of the Presidium of the Kurdistan region, Dr. Fuad Hussein and Foreign Relations Department official in the Government of the Territory Falah Mustafa. And presented during the meetings a number of important issues on the current conditions in Iraq and the region in general and relations with Turkey and the unrest in Syria. Dr. Fuad Hussein, during the meetings the importance of continuing role of the United States of America in Iraq. Especially in such a circumstance that when the political process in Iraq complexities, Syria also presents to major disturbances. And America given equal consideration in its stride, as confirmed by the position of the Kurdistan Regional Government in regards to abide by the constitution in order to resolve outstanding issues with the federal government. He welcomed the delegation of the Kurdistan Region continued support of the United States of America in building democratic, federal, pluralistic Iraq. In this regard, said Falah Mustafa: The restoration of security and stability prevailing in the Kurdistan region of a topic to closely link with the investments made by foreign companies, and the Americans were supporters to be the Kurdistan region as an example for other regions of Iraq.
