    Diwaniya announce that next Tuesday, an official holiday on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadeer

    The Board of Diwaniyah, Sunday, that next Tuesday will be an official holiday on the occasion of Eid Ghadir, while noting that the maintenance action will be taken to facilitate the passage of convoys of visitors to the province of Najaf on this occasion.

    A member of the Board of Diwaniyah in Sehud in an interview for "Alsumaria News", "Provincial Council decided to consider on Tuesday, November 15 now, an official holiday for state departments to maintain the occasion of Eid Ghadir," pointing out that "the service departments and hospitals will continue to provide services to citizens and visitors ".

    Sehud added that "maintaining the necessary actions were taken to secure the passage of convoys of visitors from the southern provinces to the city of Najaf on this occasion."

    And witness the province of Diwaniya, 180 km south of the capital Baghdad, the passage of heavy convoys of visitors heading to the southern provinces of Najaf in religious events because it is located midway between the provinces and the shrine of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib.

    The city of Najaf receives each year hundreds of thousands of visitors from inside and outside Iraq, to commemorate the Day of Ghadir, in addition to other religious occasions.

    The Holiday Ghadeer one of the events celebrating the Shiite Muslims in each year and consider it on the state pledge of allegiance to Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib, the fourth Caliph, and is intended revelers each year, the shrine of Imam Ali in Najaf, exchanging greetings and handing out candy and food.
