A source of a parliamentary coalition of the rule of law that the issue of the Ministry of Defense is nearing completion and will be resolved very soon, while the MP said the Iraqi List, Nahida Daini said, "the Iraqi List, will not nominate any new names for the post of defense minister."
The source, who requested anonymity, said the defense minister will be the share of the new grouping, which split from the Iraqi List, which includes the cluster-and-white Iraqi free mass and patriots, which will be soon, noting that the share of defense will be one of this component because the soldiers who will exceed more of thirty deputies, which means that it will give political weight of this new composition.
The source said it was not the prime minister has not received from the Iraqi List, the name of any candidate convincingly for the post of defense minister, pointing out that the Prime Minister probably will come down to the wishes and claims of the blocks split from Iraq and deprived of all government positions because of the acquisition of Iraqi leaders to those positions.
However, sources in the Iraqi List, confirm the existence of negotiations within the list to restore the white list, free and patriots and their participation in the selection of candidate defense. The source, who declined to be named, for there efforts for some time led some parties to the return of the entities that broke away from the Iraqi-based parent, indicating that the current atmosphere is moving towards a truce between all the political blocs in order to resolve all outstanding issues, including the security ministries and there is no intention When the President of the Government, as the meetings held away from the media removing the Iraqi electoral maturity against the adoption of their candidates for the post of defense minister, stressing that the post of Minister of Defense would be the share of the National Accord Movement, led by the existing Iraqi President Iyad Allawi.

She noted that the Iraqi List, agreed with the National Alliance on the nomination of the Ministers of Defense and Interior, "To my knowledge that Iyad Allawi will not provide any new candidate, but to send a formal request by the National Alliance."
