Saleh al-Mutlaq stresses the need to pass a law of amnesty
Tuesday, August 07, 2012 Through the Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq very much concerned about raising the Iraqi Council of Representatives meetings until after the Eid al-Fitr holiday without voting on the adoption of the Amnesty Law.
Promise of the Deputy Prime Minister in an official statement issued Tuesday: without unjustified delay issue, especially after it announced the Legal Committee of the Council the completion of the final wording of the law in question, which was keen to find a balance between the issues of fairness with the terms and detainees and victims at the same time.
He called on al-Mutlaq Presidency of the Council of Representatives to assume their responsibility and the constitutional and legal action to hold an extraordinary session of the Council during which the adoption of the law and bring joy to the heart of many Iraqi families and eliminating them with the approaching Eid al-Fitr.
