Hamoudi describes recent meetings among blocs' leaders as "Positive step"
The head of the Parliamentary Committee of Foreign Relations, Humam Hamoudi, described the recent meetings which were held among the heads of the political blocs as "a positive step."
Speaking to All Iraqi News Agency (AIN), he said "The blessings of Ramadan month were reflected on the Iraqi situation," noting that "The meetings participated in breaking the static situation among the political sides."
"The meetings indicated the readiness of the Iraqi National Alliance to lead the reform process to consolidate the trust among the blocs to unify the views and to reach a settlement that satisfies all sides," he added.
"All sides are willing to see the results of the reforms experiment," he concluded.
Earlier, the head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, met most of the representatives of the political blocs, discussing with them implementation of the reforms.
