Baghdad (news) A member of the Finance Committee, the National Alliance MP Amin Hady, that his committee will be discussed with the Central Bank the possibility of linking banks in Iraq network, unified communications to facilitate the banking business in the country.

said Hadi (to the Agency news) on Thursday: The Finance Committee will hold a workshop private banks to the Iraqi government and eligibility for restructuring, the presence of officials from the Central Bank and representatives of the Iraqi banks to put up the problems and obstacles that impede the work of the banking system. pointed to: that the most important topics that will be in the workshop, the discussion of how to link banks network unified communications within the system of “divided national” and agree on a mechanism to unify its work to facilitate banking transactions.

said: that the system of “divided the national” is one of the modern systems and needs to be enough time to apply because the country is still politically unstable, economically, and banks to now suffer from financial and administrative corruption, while the system needs to be infrastructure integrated implementation and stability of the total in the country. and the Central Bank to negotiate with the Association of private banks to start establishing new electronic system called (split national) banks or telephone where the link all banks Iraqi government and private network unified communications are managed by a specialized international company to facilitate banking operations.

It is noteworthy that the banking system in Iraq consists of forty-three banks as well as the central bank and distributed according to ownership between (7) banks and government (30) my family, including Bank (7) Islamic banks in addition to (6) foreign banks.
