Zebari discuss with Assistant U.S. Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs to complete the remaining steps to get out of Iraq once and Chapter VII


Research and Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari during a meeting at UN headquarters in New York on Jeffrey Feltman, assistant U.S. secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs, bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States.

And Ozkr Foreign Ministry statement today that "Zebari, Feltman stressed the need to complete the remaining steps to enable Iraq to move out permanently from the provisions of Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations," noting that "the two sides also discussed ways to strengthen relations of cooperation between Iraq and the United States to serve the interests of the peoples of the two".

On the other hand, the two discussed the events taking place in the Arab region in light of the changes and political developments and calls for reform demanded by the peoples of the Arab region.

And visit Zebari, the United States, accompanied by President Jalal Talabani, to attend meetings of the General Assembly of the United Nations held in New York its session of 66, was Zebari met with a number of officials and ministers from various countries and discussed with them bilateral relations between Iraq and their countries and ways of developing them at all levels.
