Liberal bloc to postpone the bill of the mandate of presidencies

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network - A member of the House of Representatives for the Liberal block of the Sadrist movement Odai Awad said his bloc had not yet submitted to the Presidency of the Council of Representatives the draft law on establishing the mandate of the three presidencies.

It was supposed to present the Liberal block today a bill to determine the three presidencies Presidency of the Council of Representatives.

Awad said in a statement (Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network) that "the bill in its final stages and that the issue presented to the presidency of the parliament will be within the next few days."


He noted that "the proposed law does not target a particular person as far as what part of the process of political reform in the country, which should have a future perspective as well."

And announced that the Liberal block of the Sadrist movement last Thursday on their progress of the proposed law said it happened more than 100 of the deputy of the mandate of the three presidencies only two sessions.

Article 72 of the Iraqi constitution that define the mandate of President four years and may be re-elected for a second term only in Article 77 as required in the Prime Minister shall be the President but the Constitution did not specify the number of states of the Prime Minister.
