Decrease in the number of U.S. troops in Iraq to 36 alpha

The U.S. military announced the delivery of 490 military base to the Iraqi side of the 505 total bases in Iraq, where the bases remaining by the end of the year.
He said U.S. military spokesman in Iraq, Gen. Jeffrey Buchanan in a press statement Sunday that the number of U.S. troops in Iraq fell to 36 thousand troops, pointing out that the process of withdrawal of U.S. troops from the country conducted according to the withdrawal plan.
Buchanan reported that U.S. forces will be committed to supporting the Iraqi forces during the current stage, noting that the U.S. government will spare no effort in providing support, if the Iraqi government requested it.
Buchanan stressed that the lack of agreement to give legal immunity of U.S. trainers will not affect the course of negotiations between Iraqi and American sides on the retention of a number of them after the withdrawal.
