MP, Farhad al-Atroshi, of the Kurdistani Alliance pointed out that "The Sadr Trend did not officially inform the sides of Erbil meeting about suspending its stance over toppling the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki."



, he stated "We did not receive any respond from the Sadr Trend about this issue and what we know is that the Sadr Trend did not change its stance over withdrawing confidence from Maliki."


"If there is another stance to the Sadr Trend, we should know about it officially rather than through media comments," he concluded.

The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, revealed that he promised the political blocs if they managed to gather 124 MPs supporting withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, he will complete them to become 164 MPs.
