BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network - A spokesman for the Islamic Supreme Council Maaleh Hamid said the meeting to be held by the National Alliance on Thursday will discuss what was discussed during the meetings held by the Reform Committee set up by the National Alliance recently.

He said Saedi's (Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network) that "this meeting is of particular interest to more than one reason, including that it will assess what has been discussed in terms of the reform process and the second reason that the alliance would give a strong impetus toward moving forward to end the crisis."

He explained that "the other reason is more important that the alliance would be reassuring messages to partners and political parties."

And Maaleh that "there are positive indications by many of these parties towards dealing with the positive reform initiatives by the National Alliance."

And form the National Alliance, a committee composed of seven members headed by Ibrahim al-Jaafari to prepare a paper for political reform and presented to the political blocs in order to resolve the current political crisis.

The country has the political crisis in nearly four months after the issue erupted on the arrest warrant issued against the deputy president of the republic Tareq al-Hashemi accused of supporting "terrorism", and the issue of sacking of Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq of the office and both members of the Iraqi List.
