Shafaq News / The Kurdish tribal delegation, who met yesterday Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki said that the latter will visit Kurdistan region soon after the return of President, Jalal Talabani from his therapeutic journey to Germany.

Kamel Qader Jwesah, who headed the delegation included 24 tribal Shaiks and notable men said in a statement to "Shafaq News”,that "al-Maliki disclosed to the delegation that he will visit Kurdistan soon after the return of President , Jalal Talabani from his therapeutic journey to Germany."

"The delegation, composed of 24 Kurdish tribal and notable men from Kurdistan Region visited Baghdad yesterday and met with Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki," stressing that "the delegation told the officials of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) before going to Baghdad of the visit and they did not show any objection on it.”

"The visit is normal and the delegation does not require the approval of anyone from Kurdistan," noting that” al-Maliki is the Prime Minister of all Iraq, there is no need to take approval for his visit."

Meanwhile, the spokesman of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Azad Jindiyani denied his knowledge of the visit and confirmed in a press statement received by "shafaq News", that “I am not aware of this issue and has not told anyone of it.”

The head of the Kurdish tribal delegation noted that "the meeting with al-Maliki continued for less than an hour and we demanded him to agree with the Kurds," stressing that "the delegation said to Maliki that he is the father of all Iraqis and Iraq is under your authority and you must work to reconcile the parties and implement the constitution provisions."

Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki has said on Sunday that the estrangement among the components of the Iraqi people and lack of communication and dialogue does not serve the public interest, stressing the need to go back to the constitution to solve problems and the outstanding issues among the political blocs.

Maliki said in a statement in which "Shafaq News" received a copy of it during his meeting yesterday with a delegation of tribal heads and notables of Kurdistan province that I know more than others the nature of suffering and injustice experienced by the Kurdish people and we must work together to raise what happened to our people from injustice over the past decades.

The Prime Minister emphasized that going back to the Constitution will saves the rights of all the people and its components and prevents injustice, considering that returning to sit at the table of dialogue and understanding will resolve all problems.
