Consensus on advancing planning for effective development

In line with the economic and administrative reform movement adopted by the government, the Federation of Businessmen organized in cooperation with the Institute of Economic Reform and the Center for International Projects a specialized workshop on the mechanism of implementation of government decisions and weak strategic planning in the economic process.
The workshop was moderated by Bassem Jameel Antoine, who opened the workshop. The workshop discussed a very important issue for activating the economic development, which is the strategic planning, bridging the gap in planning and the mechanisms to limit its non-implementation as required, and reducing the corruption process which the government is seriously fighting for its role. He added that "the recommendations of the workshop are addressed and presented to the Council of Ministers and its secretariat, and to the Council of Representatives."
