Nujaifi: MPs to submit demand to interrogate Maliki in two days
The speaker of the Iraqi House of Representatives, Osama al-Nujaifi, said that in two days the MPs are expected to submit an official demand to interrogate Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki inside the House.
Nujaifi who was speaking at a press conference today in the House of Representatives said that the blocs which support replacing PM have told him that the demand will be submitted in two days.
Sadr Current, Iraqiya List and Kurdistan Blocs Coalition (KBC) all demand Maliki to resign. The leaders of these forces have described Maliki as a "dictator" who has committed constitutional violations.
