An important meeting to resolve the oil and gas law soon

Khandan - An Iraqi newspaper Al-Sabah to hold an important meeting will be held during the next three weeks between representatives of the central government and Kurdistan Regional Government to agree on oil and gas law, which is still at a standstill for more than 5 years.

The newspaper quoted a source as saying that the early parliamentary meeting may resolve the debate on this important law, paving the way for the Iraqi leadership to the global oil market, especially with the policies of the government to increase production and export.

Meanwhile, an MP from Kurdistan Alliance Hassan Jihad said the draft law of oil and gas made by the government to the House of Representatives did not agree upon the political parties.

Jihad said the newspaper "Sabah", said the central government made a project of 2007 did not pass this law for many reasons have not agreed upon by the political parties.

However, the parliament confirmed the source of the "morning" that "the government is going to make some adjustments to the draft law submitted by the subject in order to be accepted by all and put to a vote during the next legislative term.
